HR Council

Join top-level HR & DEI leaders architecting West Michigan’s talent ecosystem.

The TalentFirst Human Resources Council is a community of practice for the region’s top-level leaders in human resources and diversity, equity, and inclusion — those at the forefront of our efforts to ensure West Michigan is a leading region for talent.

Why a Group for HR and DEI Leaders?

These are the professionals shaping the employee experience across the life cycle of employment. They are in the trenches cultivating a culture of inclusion for their workforce of diverse individuals. Their work goes beyond the bottom line — it touches the lives and careers of individuals, shapes the future of organizations and stands at the heart of our talent strategies for West Michigan

We convene these top-level HR and DEI leaders to:

  • Partner to create and improve upon existing solutions to shared challenges.
  • Humanize TalentFirst data and research to influence policymakers through storytelling.
  • Learn from and inform each other of observations, opportunities, and experience.

The HR Council is an exclusive professional membership and networking group that works alongside TalentFirst’s CEO Council and working groups. Participants include exemplary top-level HR and DEI strategic leaders from organizations in the 13-county region of West Michigan.
